The state of Wisconsin is known to produce good quality cultivated ginseng due to its suitable climate, soil, and geographic location. After the one crop of ginseng has been cultivated and harvested, the land can no longer be used to produce ginseng due to the exhaustive demands of the ginseng root upon the soil.
